August 1 2009 was a beautiful warm sunny day and a great day for our chapters annual picnic.
Willow bay in Onondaga Lake Park was the settting for our gathering. Those that attended enjoyed food off the grill cooked
by Denny Randall and salads, side dishes, cookies and deserts brought by the various members in attendance. A nice collection
of apparattus was on hand and in the park setting, it was a great time to converse with family and friends. Many people that
were in the park stopped by to admire and learn about the apparatus. A group headed by Barry Lasky (Jr) took advantage
of the waterfront setting and pumped with Gary Thurstons 1961 Mack B95 sedan cab pumper (formerly Bryan Ohio).
