We were fortunate to have been given
the chance to have a display at the NY State Association of Fire Chiefs annual confrence that was held at the Turning Stone
Casino / Resort in June 2009. We had a great display location inside near the entrances to the inside dispalys and confrence
rooms.
This allowed us the chance to prominently display "Bertha" our Ahrens
Fox, and talk to people about SPAAMFAA and what we are about. Along with our display we kicked off our helmet raffle to
raise money towards being able to buy tires for the Ahrens Fox.
Many people stopped to ask questions about "Bertha"
and her restoration and to tell us about rigs that they owned. We were also able to tell people about about our group
and distribute applications to both the local and national chapters.

that helped to get the rig ready for display as well as those who set up, staffed and took down the display.
